The Lori Bed - Twin / Horizontal

The Lori Murphy Bed has been the perfect addition to my home! I wanted a space that could function as both a home office and a guest room, and this bed has been the ideal solution. It looks and feels incredibly high-quality, and the overall design is beautiful. The assembly instructions were very detailed and relatively easy to follow, although I will say it took several hours to put together. Since installing it, I’ve received multiple compliments from guests, who have also commented on how comfortable the mattress is and how much they love the bed. Overall, this has been an amazing investment in my home, and I couldn’t be happier with it!

I absolutely love my queen-size Lori Bed! It has completely transformed my guest room into a beautiful, functional space that works as both a comfortable guest bedroom and a home office.

When I need the extra space, the bed folds away, and when guests arrive, I can easily turn the room back into a bedroom. The installation team was fantastic, too. They were professional, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing.

I am very pleased with my Lori bed. It has worked out quite nicely, as I have it in a multi purpose room. My sister and I put the bed together and it did take a while.... but I cannot be happier. It is made of quality material and I love the extra shelf we added on.

My Lori bed is exactly what I needed and fits my space perfectly. I added the couch and the entire setup works great. I found that I can hang a simple print on the outside of the cabinet right on the handles when the bed is closed up, and then can hang it on the inside wall when the bed folds down. Looks great! I also got the Lori mattress and not only does it fit perfectly, but our guests have said it's incredibly comfortable!

We are so happy with our Lori Bed. I can use the extra space in my sewing room when I am working on quilting. I would say it was easy to set up, but we asked for extra help from Lori Bed which worked out great. So far one person has slept over and it was great for them. When they start making a full size bed, I will purchase another for a smaller room.

I just finished assembling yesterday the vertical Queen size Lori bed that I had ordered. I got to say that I was impressed by the quality of the materials and, very inportant too, how accurate the installation guide and the videos were. I was initially concerned that assembling the bed was going to be a Herculean task but I was surprised of how easy and smoothly the entire process went. I can even say that I enjoyed the whole process. The bed is for my guests coming to our new house in Thanksgiving and I have not had (yet) the chance to try it myself but the Lori mattress I ordered looks comfy and high quality, as the rest of the bed, and I believe the bed will not only look good in our new space but that will aslo be perfectly comfortable for my guests. Thank you so much for such a nice, smart, and high quality solution (the Lori bed) to my home needs.

We installed this as bed for multi-day clients at our music studio and for ourselves. It has been used quite a bit over the last few months, and we and our clients are very happy with it. The installation is involved but very doable, and the instructions are clear and thorough. The build quality is very good.

Absolutely love the Lori bed! Perfect for our guest bedroom that doubles for other functions. Folds up smoothly to free the floor when needed, yet opens into a solid, comfy sleep surface for visitors. We got the Lori mattress and it is worth it. Sturdy build, clean look, and a real space-saving win. 5 stars!

We did experience some delivery issues, but they were unrelated to Lori Beds. What really stood out was how responsive and customer-focused the Lori Beds team was during the situation. They put us first, worked with us to resolve the challenges, and helped get everything back on track so we could complete the installation successfully.

Now that everything is set up, we absolutely love the result. The bed looks fantastic, functions beautifully, and has exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Lori Beds for both their excellent product and outstanding customer service.

Totally delighted with my Lori bed! I did extensive research and decided to go with Lori bed because of how practical and the wonderful reviews and they were right on point. Additionally, every question that I had was answered immediately and everyone that’s seen it was amazed that I not the handiest of men was able to put it together on my own.

I would highly recommend it to anyone as we are in the process of deciding on buying the additional shelf and nightstand to go along with our furniture piece.

We will probably buy another one in the near future for our garage that we’re converting into a TV room.

Building the bed is time-consuming, but they have done such a great job with packaging and instructions. Having the hardware package out for each step is such a game changer. The only two things that I wish were different about the actual structure is that the baseboard gap was just a little larger so a cord more easily could fit through there, and that the sides of the bed came in just a little bit more so there doesn’t end up with a gap between the mattress and the frame. My first guests are sleeping on this tomorrow, and I hope it works wonderfully for them, or at least well enough that I don’t feel guilty for reclaiming the space in this room every other day that we don’t have company.

I have a very small guest room that I will usually use as a workspace. My Lori bed is perfect here. It's super comfortable and convenient. My only reason for four instead of five stars is that it was more challenging to put together than described. A few details were left out of the instructions. At the end, the frame rubbed against the cabinet a lot. I spent a few hours on a chat with Lori, running back and forth between the computer, getting instructions, and the bed, crawling under the frame to adjust the legs. The person from Lori was patient, clear, listened well. Ultimately, I fixed the problem and feel great about the bed.

The Lori Bed Vertical Queen exceeds our expectations (which we're already pretty high)! The shipment arrived in perfect condition and the process of putting together was straightforward. This may be the only time I've ever said this: The directions were AMAZING! Thorough and well designed instruction manual. Every part was numbered. Every step had its own separately packaged hardware. And there's an online video that walks you through each step. It was a fun putting this bed together!

I am writing this review pleased with the Lori bed I purchase. I love the shelf feature where moving things off of it is not necessary!! My favorite feature, I do wish the shelf height could be taller. Maybe they will change it. The bed height would be nice a bit taller. Which would make the shelves height capacity higher too!

Installation was easy but time consuming. Instructions were pretty clear!

We bought the Lori mattress as well and it is quite comfortable. My dad likes it.

I also love how easy it is to put the bed up and down.

Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a bed but want to use the room for other things sometimes!

Really happy with the Lori Bed so far. It looks great, feels solid, and makes the room way more useful when we’re not using it as a guest room. It did take a little time to put together, and having two people definitely helps, but overall it was pretty straightforward. Once installed, it feels sturdy and opens and closes smoothly. Definitely glad we went with it.

This Murphy is is awesome and JUST what I was looking for to use in one of my extra bedroom/office! I was very impressed on how well the directions were written and how easy it was to follow them! It is not only beautifully made but very durable and will last a long time. I’m amazed at how easy it is to take down and secure in place. Kudos to whoever worked on the directions btw!! I would highly recommend this bed to anyone looking for this option!
